An aesthetic medicine clinic is run by registered doctors and performs medical treatments such as lasers, neuromodulators or hyaluronic acid under clinical criteria. An aesthetic center cannot perform medical procedures or prescribe treatments. At Clínica Dr. Jorge García all treatments are evaluated and indicated by the doctor himself.
Does laser lipolysis hurt? Is there recovery time?
Laser lipolysis is performed under local anaesthesia, so it is a comfortable treatment. It does not require medical leave: you can return to your routine from the same day. The after-treatment consists of wearing a girdle and performing reducing massages during the following weeks.
How many laser lipolysis sessions will I need?
In most cases, a single session per area (abdomen, flanks or lower back) is sufficient when the volume of fat is moderate. In cases of greater accumulation, we consider repeating the procedure after evaluating your evolution. Each case must be assessed individually.
When will I see the results of laser lipolysis?
The first results are visible after 15 days. The final result is usually visible between one and a half and two months, when the body has processed the treated fat. Results vary from patient to patient.
Are facial treatments suitable for all skin types?
Most of the facial treatments we offer (duo facial rejuvenation, Red Touch laser, neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid) are adapted to different skin types, but each case requires prior medical evaluation. There are specific situations, such as pregnancy, breastfeeding or certain skin pathologies, in which certain treatments are not indicated.
